The Pedregal neighborhood is one of the most luxurious areas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. If luxury is the vibe of your bachelorette party, Rich & Kitch recommend staying at:
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. This is our absolute favorite resort in Cabo San Lucas. If you’re looking for a classy bachelorette weekend getaway, this high-end resort will not disappoint. Some of our favorite offerings at this resort include the AMAZING views of the Pacific Ocean, beautiful pools & comfortable lounge chairs, a variety of fine-dining options like El Farallon, & in-room amenities like your own private plunge pool & complimentary Clase Azul tequila. Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is also extremely close to downtown Cabo San Lucas, making it easy to head into town for a night out during your bachelorette party! Cabo Villas: Another accommodation option for your bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is to rent a private villa in the Pedregal neighborhood through Cabo Villas. All villas are amazing & can actually end up being affordable for a large group. A private villa can also give you the option of hiring a butler/private chef to help you all weekend! Private villas offer amazing views & privacy for your group, making them a Rich & Kitch favorite.
All-inclusive resorts along Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico hold a special place in our hearts since Rich & Kitch got hitched at one! We also love exploring downtown Cabo San Lucas since there is so much to offer in terms of restaurants, bars, nightlife, shopping, excursions from the marina, etc. & staying along Medano Beach allows you to easily access the amazing Cabo culture! A resort along Medano Beach is right for you if you’re looking for a more lively atmosphere & want to easily explore downtown Cabo San Lucas. Also, if you like to swim in the ocean, then you’ll want to stay on Medano Beach because this is one of the only swimmable beaches in Los Cabos! If Medano Beach sounds like the place for you, we recommend:
Villa del Arco: This is an upscale resort on Medano Beach. We recommend doing Villa del Arco's all-inclusive option which gives you access to its adjoining property called Villa del Palmar, too. We'd classify Villa del Arco as "affordable luxury" since it has amazing & spacious rooms, delicious food, & great service. You can't beat the location of Villa del Arco, either, which makes it super easy to grab a taxi from the lobby to head downtown for a night out during your bachelorette party!
Corazon Cabo: Formerly known as Cabo Villas Beach Resort, the recently renovated Corazón Cabo Resort & Spa draws in a younger crowd, making it perfect for a bachelorette party weekend getaway in Cabo. The resort also has some Rich & Kitch favorites that include spending the day at Corazón Beach Club or an evening at The Rooftop 360! Along the Los Cabos Tourist Corridor, there are so many different types of resort options, making it easy to find something that will please everyone attending your bachelorette party. From ultra-luxury to all-inclusive & budget-friendly, there is no shortage of amazing hotels, but Rich & Kitch's favorites include:
The Cape: This Thompson Hotel is one of the most aesthetically pleasing resorts in Los Cabos, Mexico. The Cape is a luxury resort option & you'll be able to capture many "Instagram-worthy" moments during your bachelorette weekend. The Cape offers some of Rich & Kitch's favorite things to do in Cabo, like grabbing cocktails at The Rooftop at The Cape! The resort is located fairly close to downtown Cabo, making it easy to venture downtown for a night out during your bachelorette party!
Garza Blanca: This resort is a beautiful option along the Los Cabos Tourist Corridor that offers an all-inclusive option. The rooms are luxurious & spacious, & the resort has many pools to relax in/by during your bachelorette party. Rich & Kitch's favorites include the adults-only rooftop pool, & Garza Blanca's iconic orange tree which is a great spot to snap some pictures for the 'gram!
While Rich & Kitch prefer the Cabo San Lucas side of Los Cabos, San José del Cabo is equally amazing in its own way. San José del Cabo has a completely different downtown feel than the lively downtown San Lucas. In San José del Cabo, you can expect a more laid-back, traditional Mexican town. For your bachelorette party, there are resort options for everyone in terms of ultra-luxury to all-inclusive & budget-friendly in this part of Los Cabos, Mexico. Rich & Kitch's favorite resorts San José del Cabo include:
Hotel El Ganzo: This hotel has an amazing rooftop pool & beach club, making it the perfect place to stay during your bachelorette party!
Viceroy Los Cabos: One of the more luxurious resorts in this area of San José del Cabo, Mexico is Viceroy. The architecture at this resort is simply stunning & there are many amazing things to do on-site!
TRANSPORTATION
When it comes to booking transportation to & from the Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), Rich & Kitch highly recommend booking a private ride with Vivo Luxury Services. When arriving in Cabo, your driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. During your bachelorette party in Cabo, if you are staying at a resort, it will be easy to grab a taxi. When you are out in the town, it is usually easy to grab a taxi, too, but you can also check for Ubers which will be cheaper!
THINGS TO DO
We HIGHLY recommend doing something on the water while you’re in Cabo, so here are 2 Rich & Kitch favorites:
Cabo Sailing Ocean Adventures: Chartering a private mini yacht HAS to be one of our favorite Cabo excursions. Your charter starts with a ride by the famous Cabo arch, followed by an hour-long cruise to Santa María Bay for snorkeling. If you are planning your bachelorette party between the months of December to April, you may be lucky enough to see whales, too! The snorkeling in Santa María Bay has lots of fish & some of the prettiest turquoise water, but if snorkeling isn't your thing, you can enjoy sunbathing on the boat. After snorkeling, you'll be served a lunch of sandwiches, fruit, quesadillas, chips, salsa, & guac. There's a 3-hour open bar during the excursion, too! Cabo Sailing offers a variety of private yacht & sailboat charters, as well as shared tours, so you can book whichever option works best for your group!
Tropicat: The Tropicat (operated by Pez Gato Cabo) holds a special place in Rich & Kitch's hearts since this was the first sunset sail we ever took in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. It’s a relaxing 2-hour wine & jazz tour with an open bar, heavy appetizers, & good vibes. It’s a smooth sail since it’s on a large catamaran boat, & tickets are affordable for everyone attending your bachelorette party!
If you or anyone in your group is known to get seasick, however, here are some other options for you to enjoy on land! Rich & Kitch favorites include:
Massages at The Sandbar Los Cabos: Schedule massages on the beach, well, technically on the rooftop of The Sandbar Los Cabos. Then, head downstairs to The Sandbar restaurant for lunch & cocktails! These are affordable massages, so if you're looking for something more upscale, schedule massages at your resort's spa. Even if you are not staying at a particular resort, you may be able to make appointments at their spa. Also, if you are staying in a private villa, you can have masseuses come to you!
Acre Baja: This lush sanctuary is a Rich & Kitch favorite to visit during your bachelorette party. As you venture past San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, you'll arrive at the famous Acre Baja. Enjoy lunch & cocktails at their amazing farm-to-table restaurant, then stop by their farm & animal rescue to play with puppies that are available for adoption!!! Read even more about Acre Baja here.
BRUNCH
Everyone loves a good brunch during a bachelorette party weekend, right?! Here are 2 Rich & Kitch favorites in Los Cabos, Mexico:
The Ledge at The Cape: The best upscale brunch with a view located in the Tourist Corridor (closer to downtown Cabo San Lucas). Read more about The Cape, A Thompson Hotel, here.
Flora Farms: The best farm-to-table brunch near San Jose del Cabo. It is super "Instagram-worthy," too!
LUNCH
If lunch is more your style while you're having your bachelorette party in Los Cabos, Mexico, Rich & Kitch recommend checking out these two restaurants for lunch:
The Office on the Beach: Located on Medano Beach, The Office has some of the best beach food & an impressive margarita list.
Pescadito Break: A trendy beach restaurant located near San Jose del Cabo with amazing food, drinks, & Insta-worthy vibes.
While The Office on the Beach & Pescadito Break falls under the lunch section of this post, these two restaurants are great places to go for dinner, too!
DINNER
You can expect a separate Rich & Kitch blog post on Los Cabos, Mexico, dinner recommendations, but here are some suggestions that are fitting for your bachelorette party:
Sur Beach House: Located on Médano Beach in Cabo San Lucas, Sur has amazing food & cocktails that pair well with the restaurant's boho beach vibes. If you're staying at the Bahia Hotel, we highly recommend spending a beach day at Sur Beach House, too!
Los Tres Gallos: Our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant with locations in Cabo San Lucas & San Jose del Cabo, making it an easy place to visit no matter where you're staying! Make sure you order the Clase Azul margarita!!
Sunset Monalisa: If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with a view, Sunset Monalisa, located along the Los Cabos Tourist Corridor, will not disappoint.
COCKTAILS, WINE, & BEER
There is no shortage of amazing cocktails, wine, & beer in Los Cabos! Depending on the vibe of your bachelorette party, here are some Rich & Kitch recommendations:
Outpost Cabo: Sister restaurant to Flora Farms, you can find this organic rooftop bar & restaurant right in the heart of downtown Cabo San Lucas. They make the freshest & most delicious cocktails ever! They also have ladies' night every night, which makes it a great spot to stop during your bachelorette party. Bottomless mimosas for Sunday brunch would be another great time to check out Outpost Cabo, too.
The Wine Bar by Romeo & Julieta: This little bar in downtown Cabo San Lucas is an amazing spot to drink wine or try their delicious cocktails. They offer food at The Wine Bar, but we highly recommend making a dinner reservation at their restaurant, Romeo & Julieta, for the BEST Italian food in Cabo! Order the tableside Ceasar Salad, Lasagna and/or Pesce alla Mugnaia (if you love fresh seafood), & finish with tableside Mexican coffee and/or gelato! Sometimes, they even have live music in their open-air dining section which is super enjoyable.
Baja Brewing Co: If you like beer, check out Baja Brewing Co! But if you’re not a beer drinker like myself, they have plenty of other cocktail options, too! We love Baja Brewing's rooftop location at Corazon Cabo Resort (get there before sunset to enjoy the view), but they have another location in San Jose del Cabo, too! The food is good (especially the burgers) & they offer a wide variety of options like their famous beer pizzas, Mexican specialties like chicken enchiladas, & seafood options like ahi tuna quesadillas & fish tacos!
SPENDING THE DAY IN MEDANO BEACH
If you're looking for a day well spent off of your resort during your bachelorette party, head to some of Rich & Kitch's favorite spots on Medano Beach:
Corazon Beach Club & Rooftop 360: You’ll need to make a reservation at either of these spots located at Corazon Cabo Resort, but they are both worth a visit. If you want a cabana on the beach, check out Corazon Beach Club. If you're going for a more upscale vibe, hang out by the pool at Rooftop 360. Rooftop 360 is a Rich & Kitch favorite to relax by/in the pool, soak up the sun & amazing Cabo views, & sip on delicious cocktails!
Mango Deck: If you’re looking for a party, Mango Deck is the place for you. It’s touristy & they have some interesting contests, but it always makes for a rowdy time! They also have a rooftop which is more laid back & has amazing views!
A NIGHT OUT IN CABO SAN LUCAS
Ready for a night out in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico?! Head to one of Rich & Kitch’s favorite nightclubs during your bachelorette party:
Rooftop 360: Our absolute favorite for good DJ vibes! The cocktails are great & it can’t get much better than partying on a rooftop. Watching the sunset from Rooftop 360 is amazing, too!
El Squid Roe: Cabo’s most iconic club, stopping into El Squid Roe is a must!
COFFEE
Rich & Kitch recommend grabbing a coffee from your resort (especially if you’re doing all-inclusive), but if you’re out & about, here are some of our favorite coffee shops:
Bar Esquina: Located near Medano Beach
Land's End Coffee Roaster: Located in downtown Cabo San Lucas
Infusion Art Caffe: Off the beaten path but close to downtown Cabo San Lucas, this is by far the best coffee shop that has great food, too!
Pezgallo Coffee: Located in San Jose del Cabo
