A few caveats we will note about having your wedding at one of these amazing venues is that it can get VERY windy in Cabo, especially along the Pacific Coast, so please keep that in mind! Also, you cannot swim in the Pacific Ocean side of Cabo due to the waves, so if you & your wedding group like to swim in the ocean, you will not be able to do that at one of these resorts. However, we must say it is worth it to have your wedding at one of these amazing properties in Los Cabos!
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal (formerly known as the Resort at Pedregal) is the most luxurious resort & destination wedding venue option Pedregal & Cabo’s Pacific Coast has to offer. It’s a five-star, five-diamond resort that often gets voted the best in Mexico by Travel & Leisure year after year. The resort is extremely unique, as you must drive through its privately-owned tunnel to arrive at the resort that is built into the cliffs. Every inch of this property is absolutely beautiful & the views of the sunrise & sunset over the Pacific Ocean are amazing!

Waldorf Astoria is known for their luxury resorts, so this Los Cabos Pedregal resort is no different. The amenities (like a private plunge pool in every room), amazing food/dining options, cocktails (including a complimentary bottle of Clase Azul tequila in your room when you arrive), & service by every staff member throughout the resort are top-notch.
We also love the location of Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal since it’s located extremely close to downtown Cabo San Lucas. While this resort is amazing & you don’t necessarily need to leave it, downtown Cabo does have many amazing things to offer, so we recommend taking time to explore Cabo during your destination wedding week!

While Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is obviously located in the Pedregal neighborhood, it is one of the first resorts you will find on the Pacific Ocean side of Cabo. We’ll cover additional options within Pedregal next, then as you continue further up the Pacific coast, there are many new resorts that make for amazing destination wedding venues which we’ll share after that!
Having a wedding at a private villa is a dreamy destination wedding option offered throughout Cabo, but especially in the Pedregal neighborhood. Cabo Villas offers many amazingly beautiful private homes to rent, that are also big enough to host a small-sized destination wedding. We considered getting married in Villa Clara Vista, because I mean, who wouldn’t want to get married in a private villa?! However, when it came down to our wedding budget, as well as logistics for our wedding guests having to stay in different villas vs. all staying at a resort together, we opted to get married at an all-inclusive resort.
However, if a wedding budget isn’t a big deal for you, or you have a wedding group small enough where everyone could stay in a private villa together, a Cabo Villas luxury home rental would make for an amazing destination wedding experience! Having your wedding at a villa allows you to completely customize your wedding vision, you can hire a private chef for your wedding dinner, and you can buy your own alcohol for your wedding if you’d like (there is a Costco nearby & you know we love Costco!)

If you get married at a private villa located in Pedregal, you also have the option to get married on Pedregal’s private beach. If you choose to do that, you will also need to factor in transportation services. When going back to your villa for your wedding reception, the Pedregal neighborhood does have a strict noise curfew, so that is a potential downside of having a private villa wedding if your group likes to party. However, we must say it is worth it to have your wedding at a private villa in Pedregal! If you love to golf, then you’ll love staying at one of these Pueblo Bonito properties as they are located in Quivira Los Cabos. It’s an exclusive residential development that’s also home to a golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. You can see how beautiful it is here! We love the location of the Quivira Los Cabos area since it is only a 15-minute drive to downtown Cabo San Lucas.

If you like to golf, Nobu & the Hard Rock are located near Diamante, which offers world-class championship golf courses designed by Davis Love III & Tiger Woods. While this is a beautiful area in Los Cabos, we want to note that it is about a 30-minute drive to get to downtown Cabo San Lucas from one of these locations.
