The one caveat we will note about having your wedding at one of these amazing venues is that they can be about a 30-minute drive to downtown Cabo San Lucas and/or to downtown San José del Cabo depending on where the resort is located. However, if you don’t plan on leaving the resort much, it is definitely worth having your wedding at one of these amazing locations in Los Cabos, Mexico!
The Cape is one of Rich & Kitch’s favorite resorts in Los Cabos. The resort offers so many picturesque backdrops for your destination wedding - their view of the Sea of Cortez & iconic Cabo rocks never gets old! There are also many amazing locations on the property for you to have your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, & wedding reception. For your cocktail hour & wedding reception, you can move from the Upper Pool Terrace to The Ledge, which is a great option for smaller wedding groups. You can have an intimate cocktail hour & wedding reception dinner on The Ledge terrace, then move to the inside of the restaurant for dancing.

Another option for your cocktail hour & wedding reception is up on The Rooftop at The Cape and/or The Cape’s Glimpse Terrace. Both of these options are great for larger wedding groups. The built in backdrop of the Sea of Cortez with the iconic Cabo rocks in the distance is a nice touch, too! The Cape is such an amazing resort option for you & your wedding guests to stay at during your time in Los Cabos. The views from The Cape are spectacular - from your luxury hotel room/suite to every corner of the property. The service you receive from every staff member at this Thompson Hotel is truly amazing, too. When having your wedding at The Cape, wedding food/beverage minimums & guest room requirements are based off of your anticipated wedding guest count.
If you choose The Cape for your Cabo San Lucas wedding, you & your wedding guests will not be disappointed during your destination wedding week. The Cape’s on-site dining includes the following options for you & your guests to enjoy during your stay: Sunken Bar, The Ledge, Manta, The Rooftop, & Point Break (pool bar). The food & cocktails at each are amazing! You & your fiancé can be confident knowing that the food, cocktails, & service will be amazing during your wedding, too. While we’ve only eaten dinner at Cocina del Mar, you can tell how beautiful Esperanza’s property is just by dining at this resort as seen in this video. It’s an Auberge Resort, after all, so you know it will be luxurious! They are known for hosting weddings at the Cocina del Mar restaurant & it’s easy to see why from this video. The views are absolutely stunning! It does get quite windy at Cocina del Mar, so please keep that in mind if you want to have your luxury destination wedding here!

We haven’t been to Montage Los Cabos yet, but we’re obsessed with the resort's location right on Santa Maria Bay. Orange is my favorite color so I’m obviously obsessed with Garza Blanca’s signature orange tree, but that’s not the only reason why this resort made our best wedding venue list. This Tafer resort is beautiful & we’re obsessed with their rooftop for hosting your destination wedding in Los Cabos. We love a blank slate to be able to customize the wedding of your dreams! You can also mix & match Garza Blanca’s wedding venue options as you can see in this video. All of Garza Blanca’s wedding venue options include: Rooftop, Atrium, Beach, Orange Tree, & Event Hall, so you have a ton of options to choose from! Villa la Valencia partially opened in December 2021 & we are huge fans of Villa la Valencia, especially for weddings!
If you like staying at Hilton hotels & resorts, then the Hilton Los Cabos will not disappoint. The property is huge & they have a lot of amazing spaces to host your destination wedding. While we’ve already shared amazing destination wedding venue options, we wanted to mention other destination wedding venues along the Los Cabos Tourist Corridor. Once we have a chance to explore them, we will update this blog post, so stay tuned!
Sirena Del Mar - This little resort looks like quite the hidden gem!
Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences - There are 3 parts to this resort collection, so here is a brief overview! Hacienda Suites & El Encanto Suites offer normal resort rooms with traditional Mexican décor. The Residences at Hacienda offer villa style homes that are built up along a mountain, so we do not recommend these unless you want private villa style home rentals. We have heard it can take a while to get a golf cart to take you down the mountain to get to the other parts of the resort, so that is something to consider when staying here. Also, for weddings, they have a chapel, but it is very small. However, they have a lot of other nice areas for weddings as you can see here!
Hacienda del Mar - If you like to golf, this resort is located near one of Cabo’s best golf courses - Cabo del Sol. It looks like they have nice spaces for weddings, too!
Grand Fiesta Americana - This resort has nice options for your destination wedding & is a family-friendly all-inclusive option!
Grand Velas - There is no shortage of amazing resorts in Cabo! Grand Velas is a an all-inclusive resort that is kid-friendly & they have great options for destination weddings.
Le Blanc - This luxurious adults-only resort looks absolutely amazing for a Los Cabos destination wedding and/or honeymoon!
Dreams Los Cabos - If you work with a typical travel agent, they tend to recommend Dreams & Secrets resorts, so this could be a good option for you if you’re looking for an affordable all-inclusive resort for your destination wedding.
Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort - Another beautiful, luxury resort option in Los Cabos. Destination weddings here look stunning!
Marquis Los Cabos - This luxurious adults-only resort looks amazing for a destination wedding and/or honeymoon!
Solaz - This resort's architecture is very unique & is amazing for luxury destination weddings as you can see in the photos below!

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR WEDDINGS
Last but not least, one resort Rich & Kitch do not recommend for destination weddings along the Los Cabos Tourist Corridor is The Westin. We toured this resort in August 2021 & the wedding planner informed us that they are not accepting weddings for groups larger than 15-20 people. This was quite a surprise to us because the resort is huge & has some nice options for a destination wedding. Their reasoning for only allowing small weddings is that they can’t block off a lot of rooms for wedding groups because they have sold too many timeshares & don’t have enough inventory. There are so many other amazing options for a Cabo destination wedding, which is why we don’t recommend The Westin.
